Jason Farris was born and raised in Franklin Co. Tenn. Jason has been hunting since he was young. He hunted Carter mountain in Franklin Co.Tenn where he met up with John Adams and adam Stevens. Jason learned all he could from John and Adam about turkey and deer hunting. Soon after Meeting Ronnie,Jason killed his first turkey that John and Adam called and filmed for Jason and Later the hunt was televised on Ronnies TV show. This was the beginning of Jasons career as a cameraman for outdoor television. Ronnie Hired Jason and off they went and they havent looked back.Jason"wormie" farris films about 60% of all that is filmed for Ronnie. Jason has killed more turkey and Deer in his first year working for Ronnie than he took in his entire life. Jason Killed Turkeys in Florida ,Alabama,Tenn, Missouri,Texas and South dakota in the spring of 08 During the Off season Jason helps Ronnie trim limbs ,hang and re-position tree stands and plow and bushog fields and everything associated with hunting preparation for the upcoming season. Jason and Ronnie work all the trade seminars and their job is a lot tougher during the off season than it is during hunting season. Jason wants everyone to know that he works with Ronnie 6 days a week 12- 24 hours a day during the off season. Jason also says that doing what it takes to make Tv shows with deer and turkey is 100 times harder than he ever thought. However Jason says that he is doing exactly what he wants to do and would not trade jobs with anyone. He says Ronnies skills are unexplainable and are almost mystical. Ronnies understanding of the woods is that of a true Predator. Ronnie has also been a positive role model for Jason out of the woods as well as in the woods. |
